    Here's a scarce crude early smooth base Stout Dyer & Wicks X sauce or food bottle from the 1860s....
    STOUT DYER & WICKS X NEW YORK
    (bold emb on front).....hand blown in mold, bimal....early smooth base....crude applied tapered lip with drip of glass underneath.....aqua.....round bulbous shape with footed base....8"tall.....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage, except a tiny pinhead nick on drip under lip. Shiny clean with no haze. Crude whittled glass. This bottle was blown in the early 1860s during the Civil War period....it just missed being pontiled!
