1974 Triumph TR-6 Black

Description

Triumph TR-6. This awesome vehicle was restored from the ground up,with no expense spared.It drives like a dream with plenty of power and a fantastic exhaust note from the NOS ansa exhaust.
Vehicle History: This car was from Atlanta ,Georgia were both previous owners bought the car.The second owner drove it for 4 years and then put it on jack stands because of a bad clutch and engine misfire. There it sat for 34 years in his garage until I bought it. It was the perfect car to restore because it had zero rust on the body and frame and it was accident free. THE MILEAGE IS ORIGINAL ON THE CAR.
Engine Work: Machine shop bill was 3500$ and 1500$ in new parts. Block was hot tanked and bored .30 over and decked. New camshaft bearings and a hi performance cam installed. Flywheel was lightened and crankshaft journals were reground .10 n the rod and mains. The whole rotating assembly was balanced. The head was shaved .60 and the compression was raised 9.5 to 1. New valves,guides,springs and exhaust seats[ for unleaded fuel]. TRIPLE CARBS installed and were micro polished at Pal Tech.
Transmission: New bearings,seals and counter shaft. New U joints.
Differential: New bearings,seals and half shafts rebuilt. New urethane bushings.
Front and Rear Suspension: All new coil springs, shocks and urethane bushings.
Hydraulics: All new master cylinder for the brakes and clutch. [SILICONE BRAKE FLUID] is used through out. Stainless Steel Braided brake lines.
Cooling System: New Aluminum Radiator and Electric Fan. Evans Water less coolant. [ CAN NOT MIX WITH WATER]
Body: The car was painted Ferrari RED with PPG paint products.
Wheels: Minilite Style wheels with spinners.
New TOP, interior panels,rugs,transmission tunnel,tinted windshield[ I have the original windshield]. New 140 amp alternator and electronic ignition, ceramic coated headers,etc....
