Stock #:

-British Racing Green over Tan with Tan Carpeting, Black Floor Mats, 34,000 miles from new, Long term collector ownership, 3-Owners from new, Full service and ownership histories.
The TR story started in 1952 when Harry Webster's design team, along with body designer Walter Belgrove, showed their concept of a new 'Triumph Sports Car' at Earls Court. Public reaction proved positive and over the following winter Webster's team worked hard to develop a production model. The TR6 was introduced in January 1969, using similar chassis and running gear components to those used in the TR5/TR250. However, the body work, while retaining some elements of the TR5/TR250 design, was externally restyled by Karmann most notably recognized by the way the front and back ends are squared off. The TR6 destined for the U.S. market featured a carbureted inline six-cylinder engine. The Triumph TR6 was the best-seller of the TR range built by Triumph when production ended in July of 1976.
This example was delivered new at Continental Cars, Inc. located in Maryland Heights, MO to Mark Kimler. The vehicle is documented to have extensive mechanical work performed throughout its lifetime dating back to new! The current owner acquired the car in 1998 from Hyman LTD. and has kept every document of the car dating back to 1975. It has been seasonally driven and stored throughout the winter.
Having sold this TR6 in the past, it has been taken back on trade, it has just received a new convertible top and remains in excellent condition and ready for immediate use.
This TR6 is accompanied by a wealth of service records and documentation dating back to its original bill of sale, Jack, Tools, Spare tire, and Tonneau cover. It remains in a highly original state with absolutely no disappointments.
