    Description

    Vintage gold tone metal cuff button.
    Referred to as the ruptured duck.
    it shows an eagle with outstretched wings inside a circle decorated with stripes.
    This has some patina on the side, but mostly on the back part.
    I have not tries to clean this. I will leave that up to you.
    Gold content unmarked. I think this is electroplated but it is not marked. A cool piece I found in Grandma's button box. Dates from approx. the 1940's and WWII. Military item.
