Authentic Tom Petty RIAA Award for "Greatest Hits" in Excellent Condition! Beautiful! Nice! The award recognizes/commemorates the sale of 500,000 copies of Tom Petty's album "Greatest Hits" - certified gold in 1994.Originally, the award was presented to Mr. Al Teller who was the CEO of MCA Records at the time. The award measures 13 x 17 inches and is in superexcellent condition and all original - even the backing. Absolutely beautiful and a wonderful tribute to the great Tom Petty (a Floridian by birth);one would be hard pressed to find an item resembling this in such wonderful condition, or in any condition perhaps. As it occurs to me this would make a great gift to a Tom Petty fan or addition to one’s Tom Petty collection. Taken care of, this RIAA Award will most likely go up in value over time.
