    Here's a rare unique shaped early pontiled barrel figural mustard bottle that we dug from an 1850s outhouse privy pit in Louisiana......It has
    V G F
    emb on front....blank circle on back.....barrel figural shape...
    Hand blown in mold, bimal.....rough pontil scar on bottom....crude drippy folded over rolled lip....clear....round ovoid barrel shape.....5"tall....Excellent condition with only two small shallow very minor chips on the bottom edge of the rolled over lip; no other damage. A bit of light haze, but not bad. I've dug a lot of embossed pontiled mustards in my 45 years of digging, but I've never seen this one before!
