  • Condition: Most of these buttons are in generally good as found condition. They exhibit some tarnish and wear commensurate with age and use. Fronts are brass; backs are steel. Some are marked on the backs. Not sure of the actual ages but most are at least WWII era or earlier. The Lyre button is marked by THE HENDERSON AMES CO. KALAMAZOO, MICH. The 2 largest are marked by THE BUTTON WORKS, NEW YORK. The 2 small Eagle & Shield buttons are marked by HORSTMANN PHILA. The small Shield button with stars around border are marked by H.S. MEYER, INC. NEW YORK. The other three buttons are unmarked. Largest buttons are about 1-1/8" in diameter; the smallest are about 5/8" in diameter.
