    This is a very scarce Georgia glasshouse marked cathedral peppersauce blown at the Atlanta Glass Co in the late 1880s....

    boldly emb on bottom....6 sided with 3 tiers of arched sunken gothic window panels.....Hand blown in mold.....crude hand tooled double ring collar....aqua....8 1/8"tall.....Excellent condition with no chips or damage. A dug bottle with some light haze.  This bottle was dug in Georgia, so I have no doubt that the A.G.CO stands for Atlanta Glass Co, which was a short lived glass company in business from 1887-1892. I've never seen another A.G.CO marked cathedral sauce bottle, so here's your chance to get a rare food bottle from a Southern glasshouse!....
