    Description

    Game:          The Realm
    Publisher:    Sierra On-Line
    Year:            1997
    Version:         3.0
Own a piece of PC Gaming History.  One of the first graphical MMORPGs.  This game is so rare its almost impossible to find an image of the CD online.  The only image I've seen is for version 1.0, which looks different and came in a jewel case I think.  I was able to find one stock image of version 3.0, none of a real disc.
The Realm was the first online RPG game that I played.  It was pretty great for its time period.  The game was released in 1996, and this CD is version 3.0 and was sent to me in 1997.
I consider this game complete.  The reason for that was to get it I sent away for the CD and it came in an envelope with a small paper with my login info on it. Back then all I had was a 14.4 modem so it would have taken forever to download something this large, so ordering it and getting it on CD was the best option.  There was no box or manual to my knowledge.  I have seen a photo of a different label and jewel case, but I think that was version 1.0 and acquired differently.   I played the game throughout high school, but moved on to Ultima Online once I got to college in 1998.   You can actually still play the game, it had a cult following and some other software companies and fans have managed to keep it going in different forms throughout the years.
I tested the CD and it worked perfectly.  There are no visible scratches or defects on the CD,  It looks great.
I'm selling off my PC game collection because I don't have the space to keep everything I want to.  Because of that I am selling off most of my minor collections and focusing on my favorite, my 80s transformer collection.
The images are of the exact CD you will be buying.  I don't use stock images or steal them from other sellers.  If you have any questions please ask.
