GEORGE HARRISON and ROY ORBISON  were just two of the greats who performed on this album with Tom and were session musicians during the recordings.
The award was made by my father,  Ken Kittinger,  who (if you Google him)  you will see,  was the premier gold record maker on Music Row in Nashville for 50 years.  Starting in only country music,  his award winning gold & platinum designs were noticed by the rock and pop genres and soon,  LA,  NY and even the big labels like APPLE started ordering Ken's awards for everyone from the Beatles to the Doors for radio stations,  DJ's,  music industry execs and VIP's who helped with airplay and promotions to generate the sales of the albums.
After Tom's passing a few years ago,  this album became his most demanded collectible,  but this award is virtually impossible to find.  It was distributed about 20 years ago with only a few left behind in my dad's workshop on Music Row for aftermarket needs.  I inherited more than 5,000 items after his death and I offer them on eBay.  I'm 72 and a retired CNN anchor,  working alone so I can only handle about 75 - 100 listings at a time.
I offer two framed photos of Tom with this award.  One I created as a memorial to him with his birth and death date and another of my favorites of Tom and Bob Dylan when they were young and spent a lot of time together.  They go well with Tom's first solo performance.
