    Description

    vintage bell logo jacket. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This jacket is in new condition, Great Lakes brand in XL size. The navy nylon shell has fleece lining.
    In 1969 designer Saul Bass proposed his design of the Bell logo to AT&T . The logo was adopted and became the standard going forward, until 1983 Later the white, blue and ocher (ochre) stripes also became standard on 135,000 vehicles, 20,000 buildings and 1,250,000 phone booths.
    Finally in 1983 AT&T agreed to divest itself of the regional companies. Saul Bass then was on hand to design AT&T’s post breakup design that many employees at the time dubbed the “Death Star”.
    An opportunity now to own what is a Vintage Jacket, a piece of history!
